The Swiss came up with a fantastic way of standardising the difficulty of a walk or hike and set it all out in this table:

An example of a T1 hike would be walking around Lac du Montriond or walking to the Brochaux waterfalls from the top of the Ardent telecabine.

Our hikes are generally of a level T2 but could go up to a maximum of T3.

But of course, our hikes are about so much more than the difficulty of the trail - they are about the flowers, the cows, the views, the plants - and yes, it is mountainous so there will always be some ascent and descent but we will always help you achieve the walk
