Marked Snowshoe Trails
Pulling together the marked snowshoe trails from the local tourist offices of Vallee d'Aulps (St. Jean d'Aulps & Montriond), Morzine & Les Gets. These are all routes readily available at each tourist office - links to them are below and physical copies are available at each office.

It's worth knowing that all routes are easily connected by the free buses within each village or telecabines (gondolas) where you can pay a cheaper pedestrian price (usually around €10 return). You can find a link to the bus information on our local info page HERE

It's also worth knowing that it is easy to get between each village using the buses and costs just €1.60 each way - the drivers are helpful - see the same link.

SAFETY: Please always check the weather before walking - we recommend using the Meteo Blue weather app as the most accurate for the area. Take appropriate clothing, including a spare jumper, warm hat and gloves, sunglasses, sun cream, water to drink and maybe even a flask of coffee. Most routes have a restaurant nearby. It's always worth taking poles - borrow some ski poles. We would always recommend using good appropriate footwear and use either snowshoes or pull-on spikes (both are available from the sports and ski shops in each village).
If you don't know where you are, turn around and go back the way you came to a known point. There will usually be others on these trails as well. Always tell other people where you are going and take the emergency numbers of each ski area with you. If you get severely ill or injured or lost, the emergency number in France is 112.
Advice given here is given in good faith - remember that the mountains can be dangerous and that you choose to follow the guides given below by the tourist offices, of you own free will!
