Evening Snowshoe

Come & join us for an afternoon snowshoe walk that ends just after sunset.

This gives plenty of time to get to a perfect viewing point and still get back in time for your evening meal!

Times vary  depending on sunset time. 

Pick up time will generally be 2 hours before sunset and last for 3.5 hours:

December Sunset Times 16.48 -16.55

January Sunset Times 16.56 - 17.34

February Sunset Times 17.36 - 18.17
March Sunset Times 18.19 - 19.59

We provide transport, snowshoes & headtorches & whisk you away to a beautiful snow covered landscape where we will find a great viewpoint for watching the sunset with vin chaud then walk back under the stars using headtorches (provided).

Times of this walk depend on the sunset time therefore you will be advised of exact pick up time nearer the date. We pick up 2 hours before sunset time so that you have time to enjoy your walk and get to a great viewpoint to (hopefully!) see the sunset.  If the sky is cloudy we will go for an explore with our headtorches - a completely different way to experience snowshoeing!

You can book on individually and meet like-minded people - max 8

The cost includes a hot drink, cake & transport, from a central meeting point.
These hikes are suitable for age 7+
(younger children are of course welcome in your own carrier).
