Fondue & Snowshoe

End your week with a fun snowshoe and home-made cheese fondue lunch in the snow!

 

We carry the fondue equipment between us and enjoy a short snowshoe walk before finding somewhere beautiful for our fondue.  We then spend time making the fondue and, if the snow conditions allow, we make our own table & chairs out of the snow whilst the fondue cooks!   A hot drink and cake made by Apeeling Cakes is also included.

This is a mixed ability group and suitable for beginners but you must bring a rucksack and be prepared to help carry some of the fondue equipment and ingredients.  Please ask beforehand if you need to borrow a rucksack

Cheese fondue with cheese supplied by la Ferme du Caly

Bread for dipping

Gherkins

Coffee & spiced tea

Cake supplied by Apeeling Cakes

Please note that we are unable to vary from this menu to cater for any dietary restrictions

You can book on individually and meet like-minded people -  there will be a maximum of 8 spaces available ensuring you have a personal experience at all times.

The cost includes snowshoes and poles, transport from a central location, the fondue and a hot drink and cake.

These hikes are suitable for age 7+
(younger children are of course welcome in your own carrier).

These walks are very popular and book up quickly.

*If this is your free walk due to having collected loyalty card stamps, we would appreciate the cost of the fondue ingredients in cash on the day.  Thank you for your understanding.

The cut off time for booking this walk is 2 days beforehand Wednesday 5pm as we have to order the cheese fresh from the farm.
